Areyou looking for a new and exciting role in Surgical Services? Then join us inour combined Theatre, Discharge, Admission (TADU) and Postoperative SurgicalUnits (PSU).

PSUis an 8 bedded unit for patients who have had a surgical procedure requiringadmission for up to 23 hours in the post-operative phase.

This unit includesboth day stay surgery patients and those requiring an overnight stay. Theprimary objective of this model of care is to concentrate on suitable plannedsurgical cases in a dedicated short stay surgical setting.

TADUis dedicated unit for pre-operative and post-operative patients who are beingadmitted for elective surgery or require post-operative care in our secondstage recovery unit.

Weare currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our fantasticteam! You will have the flexibility of working across Theatre, Admission &Discharge Unit (TADU) and the Post-Operative Surgical Unit (PSU).

Ifyou have strong clinical and assessment skills, are patient and whaanaufocussed and motivated, this is where you need to be.

Essential :

  • NZ Registered Nurse
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Can do attitude with initiative and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated initiative to improve quality of care for patients and whaanau
  • Minimum of 2 years Surgical or theatre recovery experience (preferred)
