Due to an internal move, we have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant at the top of their game.
Supporting our Chief Executive is a busy and dynamic role, which requires exceptional organisational, administrative and communication skills to ensure you’re always one step ahead.
Key responsibilities include :
You’ll build strong relationships with the Mayor and Councillors, internal staff, and external stakeholders, providing a high-level of customer service and communication.
Another exciting feature of this role is leadership. You’ll have one direct report, as well as coordination responsibility for the wider Executive Assistant team.
This involves organising regular team meetings, team building and development, and ensuring continuous support for the Senior Leadership Team.
Through your previous experience supporting at the Chief Executive or Group Manager level, you have well-honed organisational and administrative skills, a high degree of initiative and an eagle-eye for detail.
This is a dynamic political environment, which requires the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality and the ability to adapt to competing and changing priorities.
You have experience leading or coordinating teams and thrive on building an inclusive, and supportive team culture. You have a positive, collaborative approach to work, and enjoy communicating with a diverse range of people.
