About the business Ray White Youngs Rentals is solely Property Management focused This creates a great atmosphere with no distractions from a sales team Our property management portfolio covers the greater Auckland area The Lynfield office we operate out of is located at 426 Hillsborough Road in Lynfield We are a small culturally diverse team that look after all the property management services for the Ray White Lynfield Royal Oak and the One Tree Hill offices About the role Full training will be provided to the successful applicant The initial role will be a property managers assistant for approximately 35 months where you will be conducting rental viewings routine property inspections arranging maintenance checking and approving invoices for payment communicating with Landlords Tenants tradespeople You will learn how to prepare for the Tenancy Tribunal and present a case in court or at mediation You will learn about the NZRTA and the Healthy Homes Act and how this impacts the daily running of the rental portfolio Great communication and fostering of relationships with the Property Managers Landlords and Tenants will be key in this role Opening up and closing the office and ensuring the smooth running of the office while supporting the Property Managers Our current administrator receptionist is taking maternity leave so after the initial 35 months you will take over the receptionist and administration role learning to enter data eye for detail and accuracy is required Tasks will involve processing invoices filing payment runs handling general incoming calls problemsolving inquiries and office duties Approx 67 months in admin role Upon the return of our current Receptionist Administrator from Maternity leave somewhere between October 2020 and December 2020 and with completion of your training in all aspects of the business you will take on the management of property management portfolio as a property manager Benefits and perks Room for growth and training there is room to learn and grow into a property management position Phone Ipad Company vehicle conditions apply Bonus and referral fees Skills and experience Are you an organised and proactive selfstarter Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Join an organisation where you can develop and grow your career Huge opportunity to grow your skills as we expand the business A customer service focus tenants are our customers and owners are our clients Everyone gets treated with respect Professional presentation youll be working with both customers and clients and need to be well presented Be able to work every fourth Saturday covering the office on a duty roster Flexibility with working hours Initiative and problemsolving skills Energetic dynamic personality Organised good time management skills A second language would be an advantage Experience in property management would be an advantage but not necessary as we provide full training Full drivers license A team player attitude General computer skills a must A good grasp of the written English language grammar
