  • About the role and what we are looking for :

    We are looking for an enthusiastic Casual Catering Assistant to work at our Senior Living site CHT in Te Awamutu . Hours of work are on an as and when required basis.

    You will be responsible for :

    In this position, you will be responsible for assisting with basic food preparation, cooking and serving of the resident's meals.

    You will also be assisting with sandwich preparation, baking, and ensuring all requests are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.

    In addition, you will be providing superb customer service to the sites residents and assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties.

    Ideal skills and experience :

    If you're our perfect candidate, you will have a high attention to detail, be willing to go the extra mile and take pride and ownership of the role.

    You will have experience working in a similar environment and have a passion for working with the elderly. You will have high standards in personal presentation, as well as a have a friendly, helpful, outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.

    To be considered for this position you :

  • will be a New Zealand citizen or resident or be in position of a valid NZ work visa.
  • will need to Pass a Pre-employment Background Check.
  • will need to provide evidence of your Covid-19 vaccination status OR may need to provide evidence of a Covid-19 vaccination status.
