Te āhuatunga a te tūranga / About the RoleAs a Case Manager (Mediations) of the Environment Court, your challenge is to proactively and effectively manage all mediation and conferencing work to enable cases to progress through to completion.

You'll build strong relationships with Environment Judges, Commissioners and staff which will help you to achieve all the roles outcomes.

You'll need to be a great communicator and problem solver. Not only that, but your ability to plan and organise is excellent.

  • The Case Manager is responsible for : managing assigned cases throughout their life cycle;taking a proactive approach to ensuring good continuity and effective follow-up in the management of cases, including where they are taken to appeal;
  • working constructively with the relevant Hearing Manager and other court personnel to provide high quality support and accurate information to Environment Court Judges and Commissioners.
