Live Life Disability Support Services (DSS) provide support to people who have disabilities to live great lives in the Nelson Marlborough community.
We support people to manage their day to day lives in ways and at times that work for them. The people we support have a wide range of abilities, gifts and challenges.
We actively encourage people to pursue their dreams and try out new experiences, and can guarantee that no two days working at Live Life DSS are ever the same.
Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)
We are looking to appoint an on roster Team Leader, working Monday to Friday 7.00AM to 3.30PM. You will be leading a team working in a community residential home with four older women who have intellectual disabilities.
An interest in dementia would be an advantage for this particular role.

ensuring that people are supported to fully participate in community life.
You will hold a minimum NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 4), or an equivalent health or disability related qualification as assessed by the Ministry of Health (see link below).
Experience working in the field of disability would be an advantage.
This role is classified by Immigration as ANZSCO 423111 and applicants for this position must be NZ or Australian Citizens, or have NZ Permanent Residency, or a valid NZ work visa.
For the health and safety of both staff and the people we support, and in line with the Health Order, all NMH staff are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
