This role is in the Building Consents department, which provides the delivery of building consents, building inspections and other building-related regulatory services within the Auckland regionYou will be responsible for enhancing customer value and improve business performance by bringing a level of technical excellence and proven professional competence to the processing of fire-engineering-related aspects of building consent applications.
provide technical advice to colleagues and customers on complex building consents around the fire engineering component and provide staff mentoring.
He kōrero mōu : About youTo be successful in this role, you will have a degree in fire engineering, memberships with relevant professional bodies is advantageous but not essential.
You have experience as a trainer and mentor to your colleagues and able to convey a high standard of professional and technical advice to colleagues and customers drawing on consultant expertise as required.
The key functions of this role are to : process the fire-engineering-related aspects of building consent applications.undertake regulatory reviews and audits of fire engineering for the region within statutory timeframes.
provide technical advice to colleagues and customers on complex building consents around the fire engineering component.provide staff mentoring and training.
excellent customer-driven attitudes which meet customer expectations;a detailed understanding of the Building Act, Building code and related legislation.
