This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of New Zealand’s leading healthcare organisations. We are excited to welcome a motivated Team Leader to lead from the front.

We are looking for a vibrant, forward-thinking Team Leader to join the After Hours team in Albany. This is an exciting opportunity that will see you lead from the front, and manage your team to success.

Your drive for coaching and developing your people will be an integral part of your day, as well as ensuring the clients’ needs are at the forefront of everything you do.

What you will be doing :

  • Leading and developing your team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Managing the performance and development of your team to ensure they are able to provide the level of customer service required, in accordance with the strategy and values of the organisation.
  • Providing ongoing support and training to your team members.
  • Recruiting and onboarding new team members as required
  • Developing close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Driving the team performance and maintaining high service levels.
  • Overseeing the entering of data into the Client Management System and other systems, ensuring the data is complete and accurate.
  • The hours required will involve weekends, public holidays as well as am / pm work outside of normal business hours on weekdays.
  • What you need to be successful :

  • Previous experience managing / supervising a team in a contact centre environment
  • Proven ability to lead, develop and mentor a cohesive and high performing team
  • The ability to drive results and create a strong team culture
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Planning, time management and organisational skills
  • Passionate for the learning and development of your team
  • Leading your team by example, living and breathing the company values and vision
