About the role :

This role is a part of the NZ Retail Finance team, performing essential centralized mid-office finance system reconciliations.

As we continue to go through a stage of growth, we are seeking a driven individual to join our close knit team, dedicated to looking after the finances of our retail pillar of the FCTG business.

This diverse role will have you working across muilti reconciliation platforms and working with our wider business to ensure financial control is maintained :

Duties include :

To communicate clearly with stores, and the wider finance team, about adjustments and transactions entered at point of reconciliation

To communicate clearly with stores, and the wider finance team, about transactions requiring their action

To follow up on outstanding items and ensure they are cleared within a timely manner

Assisting with Flighties' enquiries regarding supplier payments or customer receipts

Reconcile supplier and bank statements, and resolve variances

Potential for ad-hoc projects as required to support changes in systems

Along with your previous related experience, your outstanding customer service skills will have been previously praised and something you take huge pride in.

You’ll also have :

Excellent attention to detail

High degree of accuracy

Strong communication skills

Ability to communicate with finance and non-finance people at all levels of the business

Accounting systems experience, good with systems in general, including excel

Acts with integrity and professionalism

Embraces our philosophies and values

Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
