Ability to work and lead a TV production crew, produce high-quality broadcasts and ensure all LIVE racing goes to air across all Trackside’s platforms.

Based on Auckland’s city fringe, the role of Studio Director will see you working as a core member of our production team.

The Trackside Channels broadcast live local and international racing seven days a week on multiple platforms. Due to the nature of this role, the hours of work will be set by roster and will vary from week to week.

Flexibility with work hours is essential as weekend, public holiday and night shift work will be required. Why This Role?

Deliver The production of high-quality TV will be paramount to the success of your role and TAB NZ as a business, therefore you will use the best possible mix of content to deliver interesting, informative and exciting coverage* Lead - You will be directly in charge of an immediate studio crew whilst maintaining the overall look and feel of our on-air presence nationwide.

Variety - Tasks will vary from shift preparation, liaising with producers right through to giving constructive direction and feedback regarding programme making across our studios.

Creativity This is live TV, so we need you to have a creative eye and your commitment to strive for the perfect image will see you thrive in this exciting and fast-paced role.

You’ll already have previous TV production experience in a practical sense within a studio environment and be looking for your next challenge* Opportunity to combine your passion for sport and the racing industry with your media background* You’ll have a high level of interpersonal communication skills and will be decisive and able to make split-second decisions* Showcase your demonstrate leadership qualities alongside your ability to multi-task between differing but equally important tasks* Knowledge of racing and wagering is highly advantageous.
