To support our on-going development of our teams and continued success in the New Plymouth area, we are looking for a proactive Operations Manager to join our team.

Leading a team of approximately 20 employees, this role will drive the performance of a team of Drivers and Transfer station employees across multiple sites.

You will need to be resilient and able to gain the trust of your team, whilst leading on full spectrum of fleet management, compliance and day to day performance.

As Operations Manager you will play an integral part in

  • Ensuring we are appropriately staffed each day
  • Daily routes and collections are completed to high standard, and addressing any issues as they arise
  • Completing health & safety inspections for the individual sites
  • Championing health & safety to promote a safety conscious environment and driving our Company values
  • Delivering upmost customer service
  • To be successful, you will have :

  • 3+ years’ experience leading & managing a team and ability to create a positive culture
  • A background in transports or logistics industry is highly advantage
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and business acumen
  • Class 2 licence and truck driving experience is preferred
  • Motivation to continue growing your skills within a large & dynamic organisation
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety, and the importance of
  • A Supportive and Respectful attitude
