Universal Communications Group Pty Ltd (UCG) is a leading supplier of telecommunications network design, construction, operations and project management services.

The company is relied upon by some of Australia's and New Zealand's largest telecommunications operators to research, develop, trial and deliver new broadband deployment concepts, smart city technologies and bespoke IoT solutions.

UCG works closely with network operators to optimise the performance of their existing and planned infrastructure and to ensure that deployments are delivered fit for purpose and future-proofed.

Based in Penrose, Auckland, with hybrid work from home arrangements available, we have a great opportunity for an experienced Software Developer who wants to be immersed in a professional and high achieving Software Development team.

The position reports to the Software Development Manager and will either be a Technical Lead or Senior Software Developer depending on the readiness of your career.

You will develop our industry leading bespoke software which provides our multidisciplinary workforce the absolute edge over our competitors.

Work in an Agile environment with a team of software professionals.

Program our web based software and associated mobile Apps.

Assist the Test Automation Engineers test the software coding.

Develop your skills in new and emerging technologies.

You are a passionate Software Developer and perhaps you consider yourself a rising star. Your talent and career aspirations means you will prosper in a team of software professionals and leaders.

You are already a Technical Lead or aspire to be.

Your skills and experience will include :

5+ years of Software Developer experience

Proven experience in system integrations

Proven experience in Cloud and Microservices Architecture

Proven experience in AMQP

Proficiency with C#
