We are an Esri partner, and we're looking for a DevOps Manager to join our Digital unit in Wellington.
That's where you come in :
You're passionate about the technology industry, currently working in a similar role and looking for the next step in your career.
You'll need to have solid experience in setting up and managing multi-disciplinary engineering / DevOps teams, an in-depth knowledge of complex applications & systems, and be a champion of the Agile way.
You have experience using modern software development languages and toolsets including .NET, Ember, React, Python, and the Esri suite (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and associated frameworks).
Having a tertiary qualification in Geography, Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar would be an advantage however this is not a requirement.
What you'll be doing :
Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, this position will be working alongside a national team of developers, database architects, geospatial analysts, engineers, planners, and surveyors and will be responsible for ensuring the creation and smooth integration of the DevOps cultural practice and processes, and adoption of iterative and growing DevOps capabilities within the HG Digital discipline.
You'll help establish Project Management and Agile processes that centre on DevOps mentality in the workplace, and ensure technical capability is managed successfully.
