The opportunity :

  • We are looking for candidates at Senior Analyst to Manager level, with a relevant tertiary qualification and approximately 3-6 years working experience, who bring strategic, commercial and operational skills to a deal environment.
  • You will work with our team to evaluate investment opportunities and help clients realise value through both pre and post-deal support.

  • KPMG will provide support towards any applicable professional qualifications (e.g. CFA / CA).
  • Day to day you will :

  • Be responsible for delivering high quality work on engagements which meet the client’s individual needs
  • Work on a wide and varying range of services. It is likely that you will work across Integration & Separation and other deal advisory disciplines (e.
  • g. Corporate Finance, Transaction Services) depending on your specific skills and our client demands

  • Pre-deal strategic reviews and options assessment
  • Plan or evaluate large scale investment / divestment opportunities
  • Transaction due diligence
  • Pre- and Post-deal separation and integration planning and implementation
  • What you'll bring to the role :

  • Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, in a consulting, corporate, or financier environment is preferred
  • High quality and accurate analysis reports for client deliverables
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Business acumen, including financial literacy and excellent problem-solving capability
  • An understanding of program or project management (no formal certification is required) with project management experience a plus
  • Ability to quickly build effective working relationships
