    About the Role :

    We now have a great opportunity for an experienced sales professional with significant experience in the Government sector to join the team as our new Government Account Manager.

    This position reports to the Sector Head Government and will work closely with the wider commercial team, Regional Managers and key stakeholders within the Government sector.

    Your primary responsibility will be to source and develop new business opportunities for Government within the Wellington region.

    You will also manage existing client portfolios and implement strategies to leverage these relationships.

    In this role, relationships with store staff are imperative; however the majority of your time will be spent on the road establishing business relationships and opportunities that result in credible sales for the business.

    About You :

    We are looking for an active sales professional who has a passion for success. You will be able to point to a strong background in sales and / or business development at a commercial level and be skilled at developing win-win solutions.

    Ideally you will have strong existing relationships within the Wellington region to leverage existing and harness future opportunities.

    You will have excellent negotiation skills, be able to communicate effectively to all levels and be highly results driven.

    Your knowledge of how to size an opportunity, gauge the value of that opportunity and develop the best fit implementation plan will be critical to your success.
