These range from highly functional sites for direct investors to sophisticated systems for wealth managers.

Being the fastest growing FinTech company in the world, we are currently looking for a number of Developers at all levels to join our talented NZ team in either Wellington or Auckland.

As an Analyst Developer here at FNZ, you will be an all-rounder with the ability to analyse required system changes, design databases, write complex financial business logic and create slick web applications.

You will be working across full stack with the opportunity to get involved in lots of exciting projects, working closely with Analyst Testers and other members of the project team to produce world-class software.

What your day will look like :

Collaborate with Analyst Testers in the creation of user story definitions and acceptance criteria

Interpret complex financial business requirements and translate these into high-transactional, high-availability, secure, working systems;

Design and build a highly intuitive user interface and interactive financial tools required by financial advisers and investors;

Provide solutions and recommendations for the resolution of technical issues that arise and ensure solutions meet the technical specs and design requirements;

Join forces with other Developers to share knowledge, best practices, useful technology, and opportunities for cross-project system design / solutions.

What will you bring to the role?

Experience with one Microsoft development products (including C# / VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC and SQL Server), jQuery, Java, CSS.

You will be a confident developer who takes pride in your work and can take initiative in a delivery-focused environment

Independent with a self-directing work style.

Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment as part of a high-performance team.

Passionate about creating innovative solutions for customers.

Experience with web development and an understanding of web services.
