The primary purpose of this role is to drive fair value of Fonterra’s equity securities, Fonterra Co-operative Group shares (FCG) and Fonterra Shareholders’ Fund units (FSF), by assisting in the management of Fonterra’s equity capital environment and enabling stakeholders to understand the business, its key value drivers and prospects and supported by having a balanced investor register.
It also includes responsibilities to assist in the management of the Trading Among Farmers (TAF) structure and associated governance.
Other key responsibilities for this role are as follows : Develop insights into the performance of Fonterra and initiatives to improve disclosure and transparency of the performanceAssist in the preparation of Capital Markets input into the Fonterra and the Fonterra Shareholders’ Fund Annual and Interim Reports (in particular management commentary) and the other results briefing presentations e.
g. quarterly updates, Investor DaysAssist in the dissemination of timely, accurate FSF information to the marketplace, ensuring that FSF meets the standard for good corporate reporting in New Zealand and AustraliaPrepare information on share / unit investment performanceLiaise with and present to interested parties in regard to TAF related matters and developmentsEnsure compliance with all applicable trading rules requirements, in particular market rules and continuous disclosure obligationsContinuous monitoring and improvement of operating and financial disclosuresWork closely with Communications and Events teams to plan, manage and continually improve unit holder Annual MeetingsWhat you’ll bringTertiary qualification in Commerce, Technology or Finance is essentialAt least 5 years’ experience in senior analyst rolesProficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skillsExcellent financial communication and influencing skillsStrong problem solving and solution finding skillsPossess a sound understanding of the valuation and analysis techniques used in the equity capital market evaluation of companiesExcellent reporting, presentation and meeting facilitation skillsExcellent relationship building and communication skillsProven project management experience with a previous track record of delivering project objectivesAble to understand quality management systems and auditing processesOur StoryWe’re a co-operative of farming families who are passionate about creating goodness every day and leaving things in a better way than how we found them.
