The Commercial Procurement team supports EIS and schools to select and manage suppliers ensuring that value is maximised.
The creation of the Commercial (Supplier Management) team in spring 2017 continues to place increasing importance on the need to proactively manage suppliers.
About the roleEIS Commercial Procurement are currently in the process of implementing a number of initiatives and activities to ensure that we continue to optimise investment ensuring that our suppliers deliver the services for which they are contracted.
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a talented and energetic individual to join our fantastic team. This newly created Commercial Specialist role will be focused on supporting the ongoing implementation of the supplier management framework across multiple EIS contracts.
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for gathering and consolidating supplier performance information undertaking analysis, reporting and recommending any improvement activities or escalations required for EIS outsourced suppliers.
The position will assist in the implementation of the supply management framework across multiple EIS contracts to ensure effective and consistent contract measurement.

Ideally you will be interested in gathering, analysing and the presentation of qualitative and quantitative information and will have strong analytical, statistical and numerical skills with good attention to detail and the ability to interpret and draw conclusions.
An interest and / or experience in the construction or property sector is desirable.You will also offer : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
Willingness to engage in challenging conversations.Knowledge or experience of contract and performance management systems and processes.
