SENIOR SECURITY ANALYST

Are you an IT Security Specialist who is either a New Zealand citizen, or has lived in a Five Eyes country for 5 years or longer?

We are looking for an additional Wellington-Based Security Analyst to add to our wider Oceana Security team.

We are looking for a Senior Security Analyst to provide technical security advice and guidance to clients, internal customer teams, Service Delivery Managers and others who have a need to understand capability and requirements in this area.

The role will involve investigating, assessing and reporting on the development or spread of potential information security threats and vulnerabilities that may impact Fujitsu and / or Customer technical infrastructure SLAs, while maintaining awareness of trends in the development of Information Security, including through participation in industry forums.

You will also perform security evaluations of infrastructure changes as the Security stakeholder of the ITIL Change Management process and hold ownership of security policy and configurations of infrastructure elements (such as mail filters, log-servers and web filters), while performing management functions such as policy reviews, incident handling, analysis and monthly reporting.

Core Skills

To enjoy this role and to do it well, we envisage you will need to have :

  • Knowledge of security related Network and System infrastructures gained over 5 years with an enterprise-level organisation, preferably IT Outsourcing, Government, or other organisation running mission-critical systems.
  • Understanding of IT Security Management principles and delivery within an ITIL-based operational framework.
  • Exposure to Information Security Standards - AS / NZS27001 / 2, NZISM, SIGS
  • Experience undertaking IT security assessments and driving remedial action plans
  • Security Certifications could include CISSP, CEH, CISM etc
