Project Controls Assistant is an entry-level position and would ideally have a background with an engineering design firm, or contractor involved with the construction of heavy civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of project management requirements
  • Develop an understanding of the different types of McMillen Jacobs projects and delivery methods
  • Develop teamwork skills
  • Develop communication skills
  • Professionally meet and greet office visitors, clients, and applicants
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Assist with the reconciliation of billing and invoices
  • Assist Project Manager (PM) in file set-up, version control, and filing procedures. Maintain document control systems (software).

Qualifications:

  • 2 + years
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
