HR and Workforce Planning Analyst

  • About the opportunity

    This isn’t your run of the mill workforce planning role; this is an opportunity to be part of something big! Working across both Human Resources and the New Dunedin Hospital (NDH) you will be responsible for the collection, compilation and analysis of workforce and HR data, metrics, and statistics to support making informed people decisions about our future DHB workforce.

    Some key areas of focus for your role will be :

  • Ensuring robust systems and processes for workforce planning and information management are in place
  • Building effective partnerships with all relevant stakeholders both internal and external
  • Representing the HR function in a variety of forums for workforce planning and related initiatives for the New Dunedin Hospital
  • The analysis of HR data and statistics and trends with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover and compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • About you

    We are looking for a positive, pro-active and experienced individual to take on this challenging and rewarding role. You need to be an excellent communicator who builds rapport easily and creates positive working relationships with ease.

    Our ideal candidate will bring :

  • Significant experience within an HR, Learning and Development or Organisational Development environment
  • Adaptable, open to change (positive or negative)
  • Proven management expertise with the ability to build trust and credibility
  • Knowledge of the health sector and experience working with clinicians would be beneficial
  • Positive approach and motivated to innovate and deliver
