Position Summary & EnvironmentThis position will primarily focus on the development of an infrastructure strategy that aligns with the business’ vision and provides leadership to the Infrastructure function.
The aim is to architect an infrastructure that is robust, performant and future proof for the business.This is a hands-on management role, as you will spend your time both managing and working alongside our Infrastructure Engineers to maintain our large-scale platforms.
You will work alongside our Adaptiv Integration and C3 Post Trade businesses to support their work environments. Our C3 Post Trade environment is a global large-scale, fully on-premises SaaS platform that operates across cross-globe sites and you will be responsible for designing, operating, and provisioning the infrastructure for these platforms.
Central to the role is developing and managing projects and personnel to support strategic business initiatives, being across multiple programs at any one time and engaging project management tools and techniques that facilitate constant delivery in a dynamic and constantly changing environment.
The position requires balance between dealing with current projects and proactively addressing future requirements.IT is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires a flexible and adaptable individual who is able to remain optimistic and positive when faced with pressure and change.
This position is highly responsive to the requests of internal stakeholders with work priorities largely influenced by these stakeholders.
Responsible for infrastructure services to all locations, this can necessitate after hours work to assist in the resolution of faults as necessary, and international travel may be required.

Undertake comprehensive strategic planning to design and implement a long-range continuous change programme that transitions the infrastructure to a best of breed platform and maintains it at a high level in line with technical advances and shifting conditions.
Take a proactive role in the formulation of future strategic objectives bringing them to the Executive Management team for input, discussion and decision as to ratification.

Management of Vendor Relationships and SuppliersDevelop and manage vendor relationships in order to purchase hardware, software or licensing, or to access support.
