    As one of Government's larger regulators, the Regulatory Services Group of the Department aims to minimise harm and maximise benefits in three regulatory systems : anti-

    money laundering and countering financing terrorism, gambling, and digital safety. We are a responsive risk-based regulator that uses innovation and collaboration to maximise our impact to achieve outcomes for New Zealand communities.

    We are looking for a Lead Advisor Strategic Engagement to join the Strategy and Capability team to provide strategic leadership building engagement strategies, championing the value of engagement and providing best practice advice.

    To be successful in this role you will have :

  • Experience in working alongside our regulatory experts to build and implement regulatory system engagement strategies that are aligned with the wider Regulatory Services approach.
  • Excellent relationship building skills and a positive attitude in working with stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Able to create seamless connections between our engagement work and the communications approach of the wider Department.
