performing Senior Communications Advisor to join our New Zealand and Government Relations team. Reporting to the Communications Manager you will be required to deliver strategic communications advice, campaigns and activity to help us maintain our reputation across domestic internal and external stakeholders.
You will work with a wide range of stakeholders including the senior leadership team at Tourism New Zealand, media, ministers, government agencies, the tourism industry and New Zealanders.
What we need from youTo be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate : Exceptionally strong stakeholder management skills, including working with media.
Experience running integrated campaigns and working with agencies.Experience writing for a range of audiences and channels.
Ability to work independently while also playing a role in supporting team culture.Strategic thinking and delivery.Ability to operate quickly and effectively under pressure.
This busy and diverse role requires someone with a minimum of seven years proven communications experience, a relevant qualification in communications or public relations and ideally experience working within the public sector.
