    An exciting opportunity has opened for an Educational Technology Team Leader responsible for leading the Educational Technology team to develop and deliver engaging and innovative learning technology solutions at the University.

    This role is key to facilitating the delivery of strategic and operational plans for educational technology services in the context of the University's vision and mission.

    Mōu Who You Are

    You will have significant experience in either video or multimedia development roles, as well as have :

  • extensive experience in either Educational Technology related and / or tertiary teaching roles involving hybrid / online delivery
  • experience in leadership, administration and management of a medium sized group of technical or professionally qualified staff
  • a background in tertiary education with knowledge of higher education pedagogy and student success
  • interpersonal skills, strategic vision, and ability to design and implement processes across a complex organisation will be key in meeting the goals of the position
  • leadership skills in fostering growth and developing people within your organisation
  • strong skills in digital technology and editing software packages, with knowledge of identifying issues and proposing solutions.
  • project management experience
  • management skills to monitor and evaluate service delivery
  • a commitment to upholding the values, tikanga, kawa of cultural practice and traditions as guided by mana whenua, Ngāi Tūāhuriri, and valuing te reo Māori.
