This position will be based in Auckland.
As this role involves working in the field we provide a risk-based Occupational Vaccination Program for our Field Workers to protect against any potential biological hazards.
Participation in the Occupational Vaccination Program is voluntary, however we encourage you to participate in this program.
As one of our Motor Assessors, you'll work from a digital assessing platform (ORM) where jobs are assessed after a quote is tendered by our network of repairers.
keeping all parties informed of progress along the way.
At times you'll be required to carry out visual inspections of structural repairs to ensure repair processes are being followed to manufacturer's specifications.
A customer focused individual with sound knowledge of auto body and mechanical repair procedures, including the latest developments in technology.
You'll have a proven ability to accurately and independently assess and agree repair costs with external repair providers.
You'll possess a sound understanding of repair methodologies that reflect current practices.
Ideally you will have a Trade Certification Panel Beating from the Collision Repair sector, preferably with I-Car qualifications.
However, this is not a must have requirement as the team are open to looking at applicants with Trade experience. To help you perform well in this role you'll be competent in keyboard and PC skills with knowledge of industry quoting packages.
Previous experience of assessing in the Insurance industry would be advantageous.
