The Sr Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting to support dynamic business growth; within a corporate technology environment.

This role performs all elements of professional and administrative recruiting functions in support of identifying, interviewing, evaluating and selecting qualified employees to effectively meet the organization’s talent requirements.

This position can be remote / work from home.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Proactively sources and identifies qualified candidates, interviews, negotiates with and closes selected candidates for job openings, ensuring compliance with company policy, recruiting processes and regulatory requirements
  • Uses and leverages automated tracking system, identifies candidates from numerous sources, initiates ads, screens and qualifies candidates and performs reference checks
  • Leverages the NTT Employee Value Proposition, High Performance Culture (HPC) and corporate benefits materials to improve the NTT brand from a recruiting point of view
  • Builds strong relationships with all levels of management to understand business and talent needs
  • Creates a hiring plan and initiates various cost-effective sourcing strategies based on the position being filled. The sourcing strategies will include, but may not be limited to : Internet mining, social media networking, identifying quality employee referrals, job boards, internal databases, and attending user groups
  • Continually builds a pipeline of candidates and develop a network of talent suitable for potential employment with NTT for certain strategic talent needs, including by attending trade and industry events
  • Works closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager on ideas for process development and enhancement as well as creative strategies to fill critical roles
  • Maintains a master database of competencies, competency models by role, and behavioral interviewing questions mapped to those roles
  • Educates hiring managers and facilitates behavioral-based interviewing; manages the entire interview process
  • Mentors other recruiters on the team by sharing creative recruiting techniques and fostering innovation
  • Monitors and maintains internal and external posting activities
  • Ensures compliance with Company policies and guidelines, recruiting process and regulatory requirements
  • Education / Qualifications Required

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. BA / BS degree in business management, HR or related field preferred
  • Work Experience Required

  • 5-8 years recruiting experience required. Professional Services and / or Technical environment strongly preferred
  • Experience recruiting on sales and technical positions; preferably with a Wholesale IP provider
  • Knowledge of, and proven experience with, full life-cycle recruiting required
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively using social media networking, applicant tracking systems, major internet job boards and third-party agencies
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a staffing agency setting preferred
  • Skills and Core Competencies

  • Process management, organization and client relationship skills are necessary
  • Facilitation and problem-solving skills are a must
  • Understanding of applicable federal and state employment laws is mandatory
  • Experience with common ATS platforms (WorkDay, People Fluent, Success Factors, etc )
  • Advanced experience with MS Office applications
  • Organizational Relationships

  • Must be able to establish professional relationships and build rapport quickly with hiring managers
  • Foster positive teamwork and collaborate with management on recruiting initiatives
