We have an opportunity for a Senior Systems Accountant to join us for a 12 month contract!The purpose of the Senior Systems Accountant is to support and maintain the Finance Systems functions for ASB.

This includes systems operations and maintenance, compliance, testing and upgrades. As the SME for data flows and mapping into and out of the GL as well as configuration of internal GL and submodule processes, you will provide support and guidance to internal and external department users for all queries or changes.

This role is key to influence and guide the design, testing and rollout of new systems feeds, mobile applications and GL enhancements to achieve the right long-

term outcomes for Finance.What are we looking for : Applicants must have strong general systems skills and an understanding of technical issues gained from at least 4 years experience in a Systems Accountant role.

You will possess strong reconciliation skills and ability to understand and follow flows of data. Technical skills will ideally include SQL and VBA.

Peoplesoft administrator skills are also an advantage. Combined with the above, you will also have a sound knowledge of accounting concepts and be comfortable working within a Financial Services environment.
