    We are looking for an experienced individual who will work in partnership with the General Manager Infrastructure Development and the wider Executive Team to manage the implementation and delivery of the projects within the service.

    This is a part time position working 20 hours per week Monday to Friday (this can be flexible) based at Middlemore Hospital.

    The role will provide proactive project management support, including :

  • The ability to use effective development skills, programme management and health system knowledge and information networks to support further service development in line with CM Health strategic priorities and operational imperatives.
  • Ensure timely progress on the designated projects and work programmes. This will include logistical capacity as well as robust accountability reporting and governance support.
  • Effective tracking processes to ensure projects and programmes are realising benefits and achieving milestones.
  • Set up, provide logistical support and attend (either remotely or in person) meetings with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ideal candidate will need to have 5 years in a senior administration role in a large complex healthcare environment or similar organisation.

    Effective communication skills, including written and oral methods, proven relationship building skills and ability to negotiate, work to deadlines and set priorities in competing work streams.

    A broad knowledge of health care systems within DHBs or similar, problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to identify problems, manage or mitigate risks, resolve issues and implement innovative solutions or escalate as required in this role.
