We are looking for an experienced individual who will work in partnership with the General Manager Infrastructure Development and the wider Executive Team to manage the implementation and delivery of the projects within the service.
This is a part time position working 20 hours per week Monday to Friday (this can be flexible) based at Middlemore Hospital.
The role will provide proactive project management support, including :
The ideal candidate will need to have 5 years in a senior administration role in a large complex healthcare environment or similar organisation.
Effective communication skills, including written and oral methods, proven relationship building skills and ability to negotiate, work to deadlines and set priorities in competing work streams.
A broad knowledge of health care systems within DHBs or similar, problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to identify problems, manage or mitigate risks, resolve issues and implement innovative solutions or escalate as required in this role.
