This is a fixed term contract role, with a good chance to go to permanent. The role will start in Auckland, with the successful candidate later being located in the Waikato region from mid-2020 until late-2021.
This is a project-based role with the requirement to be mobile / travel.Key accountabilities include : You ensure that engineering deliverables are cost-effective by using a mix of highly skilled local subject matter experts and low-cost remote engineering services to drive local productivity and processes compliance to standardization.
Responsible for the overall execution of the systems design, engineering, implementation, commissioning and documentation of a project Assessment of customer site for installation and design requirements for incorporation into the project design documents as well as coordinating these requirements with the installation subcontractor Design and configuration of HVAC, CCTV, Access Control, Security, and Third-Party Systems.
This includes, but limited to, the system design, site implementation plan, head-end server configuration and design documentation.
Technical advice, design and implementation support to the business and customers. Assisting Sales involving innovative use of the latest technology in establishing system design and providing project estimate and assist the supply chain with necessary negotiations.
You must have : Relevant background and knowledge in Electrical Engineering, controls or Mechatronics is essential Proven Financial, Project and People Management skills Knowledge of networking, database technology and trends in IT would be highly advantageous.
