About the role
As a Developer within the Applications Development group, you will provide end to end application development services, working across a variety of platforms and technologies.
The role is focused on providing business solutions as well as some support, advice and troubleshooting.
You will be focused on the development of web-based solutions in multi-user, distributed environments, preferably using Agile and / or DevOps methodologies and utilising technologies such as : Python, PHP, C# and SQL as well as common frameworks such as Django, Angular.JS or .NET.
Key tasks include :
You will work collaboratively with ITS teams to help understand where existing services can be leveraged and identify opportunities to develop new services that will benefit the University of Otago community.
Your skills and experience
This is a full-time, fixed term position for 12 months
