An opportunity has arisen to join our forward thinking and dynamic community Dietetic team across the Auckland District Health Board to provide nutritional care for adult patients in the area of adult community.
Our Dietitians work in locality teams and are committed to the holistic delivery of health services within the Auckland DHB community.
We offer dietetic advice and support to clients with a range of medical conditions including home enteral nutrition, malnutrition, dysphagia, oncology, wound healing, obesity with co-morbidities and irritable bowel syndrome.
Services are provided in both the home and clinic settings. We are committed to your continuing professional development through supervision, support and formal / informal training.

The preferred applicant will : Be a NZ Registered Dietitian and have a current Annual Practicing CertificateExcellent clinical decision making skills and use of evidence based practiceA flexible, pro-active and can-do approach with experience supporting staff and studentsHave recent experience in clinical dietetics, preferably in community practiceHave an understanding of current issues related to the delivery of community based careExcellent organisational, communication and inter-personal skillsAbility to work autonomously in a bicultural environmentHave experience in working in a multidisciplinary teamHold a current drivers licenceClick here for a copy of the position description.
