Job Description
JDE is looking for a committed Production Specialist in our factory in Auckland to work on the afternoon shift (3.30PM midnight, Monday to Friday).
The Auckland factory is in a period of growth, therefore there will be plenty of opportunities to develop your skills across a range of machinery.
This role is vital in ensuring a safe work environment, and the production of high-quality tea and coffee.
Key tasks will include :
Operating machinery
Manufacturing and packaging tea and coffee products to specifications
Setting up machines and / or weighing scales (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
Ensure raw materials accurately flow to the machines
Fix any issues that might happen during the shift (including basic troubleshooting) or ask for help to problem solve
Fill in paperwork - records of approved and defective units or final products
Maintain high-quality standards and aim for continuous improvement
Keep a clean and safe working environment and make the best use of the space available
Complete quality and production records in line with policies / procedures
Report any issues / non-conformances & waste
Labelling / tagging of bags and packing
Qualifications
To be the best Production Specialist, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience :
Production Operator experience (ideally within Food, Beverage or Pharma Industries)
Willingness to commit full time to the afternoon shift (3.30pm midnight) including paid overtime as needed (more interested in working the day shift from 7 : 30 AM - 4 PM?

Track record of being able to safely and physically perform in a similar role (lifting and pushing required)
Preferably a forklift licence
Experience working in a fast-paced team
Willingness to learn, grow and adapt as production needs change
