About the opportunity
As our Systems Analyst, your primary focus will be to support Transpower's Asset Management system Maximo along with a portfolio of other core enterprise applications.
You'll take on incident management and troubleshooting, leveraging the skills of the Platform Specialists and other teams around you when needed.
Your passion for continuous improvement will be put to good use as you look to reduce technical debt through robust problem analysis and automation of routine operational tasks and service requests.
On a daily basis you will :
Perform Incident and Problem Management functions to resolve and close out system issues
Define requirements and acceptance criteria to automate repeatable tasks and to build quality into solutions
Provide input to designs and ensure solutions are developed for operations with simplicity being chosen over complexity and standardisation being balanced against evolution
Influence design to incorporate automated build, tests and deployments
To be considered, your CV, covering letter and experience will demonstrate :
Minimum 4+ years' hands-on experience as a Systems / Support Analyst
Proven ability to run Incident and Problem Management processes
Experience identifying the root cause of issues through technical analysis, and by leveraging logging and monitoring tools
Ability to complete complex queries and provide data fixes or manipulate data
Ability to script or configure system changes
Experience working with vendors delivering and supporting components of solutions
Strong written and oral communication skills
A strong customer focus
Previous experience operating in a complex environment with diverse technologies and suppliers
