As our Applications Support Analyst you’re at the heart of ensuring reliability and driving change in the Point of Sale, eCommerce, and Business Intelligence applications to deliver these two goals.
What you’re responsible forBecome a subject matter expert for our Point of Sale (PoS), BI, and eCommerce / CMS platforms from the user perspective to the database level.
Engage with business users and key stakeholders to understand their requirements for changes.Level 2 service support resolutions for the applications you’re responsible for.
Application change life cycle of map current state, model solutions, test case design, test, and release.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business and vendors.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience2-5 Years’ experience as an IT professionalAbility to investigate through SQL querying issues, feedback root cause and decide whether to escalate or propose a solutionThe ability to understand the interdependent relationship between applications / services and the business processes they enableExperience in communicating with 3rd parties to resolve outstanding issues and change requests through the proposed communication channelThe ability to bridge different parts of an organisation, translating business needs to IT-speak’ and vice versaThe ability to maintain a testing management process to ensure that planned releases meets required reliabilityPreferred Qualifications / ExperienceQualification in SQL e.
g. MCSA or MTAExposure to Microsoft reporting stack (SSRS, Power BI, SSIS, SSAS)Familiarity with ITIL
