In this role you will :

  • Obtain a clear understanding of the overall Computers commercial business objectives.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and development of the business as a senior member of the F&B management team.
  • Be available for frequent travel within NZ.
  • Analyse internal data to outline performance improvement requirements. Assist in the formulation of department goals and objectives, and their implementation.
  • Keep yourself up-to-date by attending product training sessions and liaising with suppliers as required.
  • Develop, drive and deliver training programs for Proprietors and staff.
  • Work full time (40 hours) Mon-Fri and any (occasional) extra hours as required by the Business.
  • The skills and experience you’ll need to bring with you include :

  • Proven strategic planning and execution skills, in a target driven environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft office with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently manage a retail business, meeting and exceeding required targets and standards.
  • Ideally, you will be familiar with the Consumer Guarantees and the Fair Trading Acts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; relate well to a wide audience and be able to tailor communication to suit your customers.
  • You will need to make and give presentations to potential clients

  • Action oriented with the ability to tackle challenges and new initiatives; quick learner and enthusiastic
  • Persistent with a high level of work ethic and professionalism
  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise your own workload
  • Professional demeanour, good sense of humour, down to earth, approachable and work well as part of a team.
