About the role
As a Senior Commissioning Manager in our Primary & Complex Care team your top priority will be commissioning services to strengthen primary care in the Hutt Valley and Greater Wellington with a key focus on long term conditions.
In this space we are on an exciting path to establishing new and enduring relationships with Mana whenua to drive better outcomes for Māori.
You will have a good understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and our Crown obligations to Iwi. The 2DHB are pro-equity and the needs of our populations, communities and whānau are at the heart of system design and service commissioning.

The roles work across both District Health Boards with one role based at Capital and Coast and the other Hutt Valley District Health Board.

To be successful in this role you will be adaptable and with a strong drive for results. You will demonstrate exceptional collaboration skills, be a proactive self-starter with the get-up-and-go to pick up a work programme and run with it.
You will be comfortable working in the community and managing relationships with PHOs and NGO providers.
