HR Manager - Fixed Term

Working in a supportive HR team no day is the same workingfor one of New Zealand’s iconic, family owned and operated Kiwicompanies.

A highly people and culture focused role, we are looking for anindividual with effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsto join our senior team in this fixed term position.

This exciting role willbring a special focus on translating our engagement survey results intotransformative practice, strengthening our People Experience, Engagement andEmployment brand.

Recognising that our business and team has successfully navigated thechallenges of Covid and a period of rapid growth, the key objectives for thisrole are to further strengthen our team culture and communication so we canremain future ready and continue to perform at a high level in a rapidlychanging environment.

Overseeing and supported by a skilled, credentialed andwell-established HR team who take care of all aspects of the day to day runningof the function, this role will directly manage the following :

  • Managing annual and out of cycle remuneration reviews
  • Managing the company’s wage budget
  • Leading performance management processes
  • Providing support to the senior leadership team to manage employee relations
  • Managing organisational structure, succession planning and change
  • Develop and manage HR policies and provide advice on interpretation
  • Ensure quality control and effectiveness of all health and safety systems
  • Provide leadership and support to for successful completion of scheduled audits and day to day maintenance of best practice
  • Develop and deliver well-being initiatives
