Due to continued growth EROAD is seeking an experienced Solution Architect. In this position you will take architectural ownership of multiple application and integration projects against strategic business initiatives with support from the Head of Architecture, CTO and wider product, design and engineering group.

You will be confident in solutioning across cloud technologies, mobile, analytics, IoT and partner integrations.

You will be competent in translating business requirements and processes into technical solutions, developing and architecting an overall system vision, and transforming the vision through execution in multiple teams into a production solution.

You will have a successful track record of delivering high scale SaaS solutions. You will be an experienced Solution Architect, comfortable with information and domain modelling, public API design, integration, mobile and IoT solutions.

You will understand what it takes to compete globally at speed using cloud technology, CI / CD, security and privacy by design along with long term solutions that manage technical debt.

This is a key engineering position and will be integral in ensuring a collaborative work environment and will act as a positive influence across EROAD.

  • Key requirements :

  • Able to design and build simple, high-availability, scalable solutions delivering against company goals and working across the SDLC.
  • Able to generate the required technical design documentation that can be easily understood by others in the development team.
  • Able to define specific development outcomes.
  • Expert in supporting agile software development methodologies with strategic and just in time architecture.
