The opportunity :

  • We are looking for experienced Tax advisory practitioners with 3 plus years of experience in Corporate Tax, M&A Tax & Property Tax up to Manager level.
  • You will join a well-established and supportive team of experts who are committed to the highest standards of technical expertise and have a passion for understanding their clients needs.
  • Day to day you will :

  • Work with clients and collaborate with the wider tax team to develop commercial solutions which address their business needs
  • Monitor and anticipate changes to tax legislation and respond quickly with advice specific to clients' requirements
  • Deliver insights that help business leaders to make confident business decisions across various business lines
  • Assist in resolving Inland Revenue disputes including drafting strategies to deal with disputes and submissions to Inland Revenue
  • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for all things Tax and delivering a high quality of work
  • What you'll bring to our team :

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Chartered Accountant or hold a Law Degree)
  • 3+ years tax experience in a professional services environment experience with New Zealand tax exposure
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Professional approach to work and strong client focus
  • Collaborative and inclusive approach
  • Experience coaching and developing more junior team members
