Will you join us? About the team and the role ICT Security, Risk and Assurance manage and maintain ICT Security strategy, policy, guidelines and processes to ensure that ICT security risk across the Ministry is understood and managed appropriately.
The team provides a range of ICT Risk and Assurance Services such as, working with managers and teams to ensure robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place, and that ICT risk is properly assessed and managed.
As an Information Security Analyst, you will report to the Manager ICT Security and work across the Corporate & Digital Services group to drive the implementation of a robust ICT Security, Risk and Assurance programme.

Skills and experience To be successful in this role you will have practical experience in : Providing information security expertise Developing security processes Providing security operational and administrative services Reviewing ICT solutions and designs against common security standards and frameworks Working with NZ Government security frameworks such as the Protective Security Requirements and New Zealand Information Security Manual Building positive relationships with ICT stakeholders to ensure security is an integral part of ICT solution design and implementation Salary range : $76,312 -
