Mō tō Mātou Rōpū About Our Team

The Customer Team is made up of Portfolio Management, Service Delivery Management and codesign specialists. Our aim it to provide exceptional customer service across the Northern Region.

We work in collaboration with our district partners to oversee the delivery of data digital initiatives.

Te Whiwhinga Mahi The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the GM of Customer, the main purpose of this role will be too :

Ensure portfolio delivery is in line with the strategic objectives and prioritisation is applied across the work portfolio.

Ensure timely delivery of the projects within the portfolio. Manage the impacts of change and ensure portfolio progress is visible to the required governance forums.

Ensure effective management of Project & Programme Services Finances for the full project lifecycle. Manage variations and ensure stakeholders are regularly kept up to date with the financial position.

Ensuring there are no surprises for all stakeholders.

Establish and maintain positive partnerships with District sponsors, business owners, health information managers and the internal healthAlliance teams.

Develop trust and confidence in the team’s ability to consistently deliver projects.

Provide Leadership and support for team members ensuring they have the skills, abilities and structure to enable them to be successful whilst maintaining high staff morale and engagement.

Ngā Pūkenga me ngā Wheako Skills & Experience

Knowledge and experience of portfolio, programme and project management

Project Management certification, preferred programme or portfolio certification

Knowledge and experience in business process change

Outstanding levels of competence dealing with business sponsors, project managers and others who have the ability to affect the outcome of projects

Minimum 3 years delivery of Portfolios to time, scope, quality and budget targets

Minimum of 5 years of strong people management skills across diverse personality types

Proven ability to communicate and work with senior executives

Strong commercial skills and experience in dealing effectively with suppliers and partners
