We are seeking rural, communityminded doctors to be part of TDHB’s vision in building an integrated primaryand secondary health service in Hawera .
This is an exciting new opportunitynot to be missed! We are looking for Urgent Care specialists to work in this new,modern primary care service, who arepreferably Fellows of the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care (FRNZCUC).
We need flexible open minded andprogressive doctors to join our existing small, competent and supportive teamin a level 3 rural hospital providing 24 / 7 medical cover.
To achievethis, we need practitioners who can use their varied and broad generalistknowledge and experience to diagnose and treat your patient in either a primarycare and / or secondary care high acuity area setting with opportunities tofollow your patients admitted to the inpatient ward.
You will :
Havethe opportunity to create a primary care service designed to meet thecommunities needs

The SouthTaranaki Rural Health Hub is aiming to provide an integrated primary, secondaryand community service for the community.
It is an exciting opportunity tobe part of the establishment of a model designed to meet the needs of acommunity that is engaged and enthusiastic about improving services.
Therole will involve primarily working within a newly established walk-in clinichowever there is scope to expand this for experienced clinicians.
The Hospital has a well-equippedradiology and laboratory service. In addition, the emergency departmenthas a Sonosite X-Porte ultrasound machine available for clinician-performedultrasounds.
