Te whiwhinga mahi The Opportunity We currently have a variety of roles available for permanent full-time and part-time New Zealand registered Speech and Language Therapists to join our dedicated, supportive and friendly Speech-Language Therapy teams based at Auckland City Hospital as well as our Community-based teams based at Greenlane Clinical Centre and Point Chevalier Clinical Centre.
Community Teams : Our Speech-Language Therapists work in locality teams and are committed to the holistic delivery of health services with their MDT colleagues, within the Te Toka Tumai community.
We offer therapy to clients with a range of communication and swallowing disorders due to a wide variety of conditions, and service are provided in the community, home, clinic and telehealth settings.
Being part of our community team we also offer training and development opportunities for video fluoroscopy and also support all our staff in maintaining skills in FEES and tracheostomy with the wider SLT inpatient team where applicable.
Inpatient Teams : Work alongside a dedicated team delivering high quality evidence based clinical care to complex caseload of clients.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in the use of FEES, video fluoroscopy and tracheostomy management while implementing delegated intervention plans for client care.
As part of our inpatient team, you will be able to collaborate with team members and other wok groups to achieve our service objectives.
Alongside a clinical caseload, there will be opportunities for developing your skills in coaching, service development and quality initiatives suitable for your level of experience.
