We are looking for a NZregistered midwife with loads of passion and commitment to join our maternity team. You will be rosteredacross AM, PM and Nights (you canchoose between 8 hr and 12 hr shifts).
We have 1,000 births a year and we canpromise that your core midwifery role will be busy and varied so no two dayswill be the same.
Thebest thing is that our service is midwifery led so you will get to be amidwife practising in all the areas you love!
You willhave the opportunity to work in our nearby primary maternity unit if you arekeen too!

All midwives welcome to apply! You will becommitted to women centred and culturally respectful care. As a midwife youwill be able to use all of your clinical, time management and organisationalskills and expertise across pregnancy, birthing and postnatal care.
You will bean important member of maternity service and support us to achieve the broaderorganisational health care objectives.
For the healthand safety of staff and patients all NMH staff are required to be vaccinated inaccordance with the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021,including boosters.

The midwifery team at Nelson-Tasman is awesome! We are a midwifery ledservice with close collegial relationships with our Obstetric and Paediatricteams too! The secondary maternity team works closely with our local primary maternityunit so there is the opportunity to work across both sites! The team not onlymake such a positive work environment to be in they love to get together forsocial activities too! We can guarantee you’ll receive a very warm welcome intoour team!
