Work with a giant of technology :

We currently have two three-month contract opportunities in Christchurch for Service Desk Analysts / Onsite Technicians.

In these roles you will be providing onsite technical support as part of a IT Connect Bar , a walk-up IT support service which will involve users bringing their device to you for troubleshooting.

This is a pilot of our IT Connect Bar model for the Christchurch branch of a key Fujitsu customer. The model is well established and successful at other Fujitsu Client locations throughout New Zealand.

As the face of the Service you will be instrumental in the success of the pilot, paving the way for ongoing employment potential.

Our client has a predominantly Microsoft365 base, so we are looking for people with a background supporting Windows environments and Microsoft applications.

Most importantly though you will be a people person’ who customers enjoy interacting with due to your friendly persona, excellent communication skills and can-do attitude.

Building your own path to success :

To be successful in this role, you will have :

  • A clear and confident communication style with the ability to build and develop strong customer relationships
  • Previous Service Desk / IT support experience supporting a Windows end-user environments ideally within an enterprise level environment
  • Technical skills which include various Windows Operating Systems, TCP / IP, Active Directory, MS Office and / or experience with PC products (e.g. Lenovo, HP, Dell)
  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework and previous use of an Incident Management tool
  • A relevant IT certification
