Risk Quality Assurance Specialist Who are we At Southern Cross Travel Insurance we are proud to be the market leader and it s an exciting time to be part of our team The needs and expectations of our customers are changing faster than ever and we are right here with them providing solutions certainty and giving back We have a diverse and inclusive culture where team members are empowered to make decisions and succeed Our commitment is to work together to be simply extraordinary SCTI is looking for a Risk Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team This role is responsible for effective and timely quality assurance support to ensure that our standards of best practice are met efficiencies and improvements are identified and ultimately our overall business risk is reduced Reporting to our Risk and Compliance Manager we re looking for someone with a background in the insurance industry preferably in a risk quality assurance role and a commitment to great customer service across both our internal and external customers Risk and compliance is a valued part of the team at SCTI The successful candidate has the opportunity to make a real impact to our customer experience and the success of our employees in a role that spans both New Zealand and Australian regulations About the role You will partner with our operational teams across the business including Claims and our Contact Centre to provide effective quality assurance advice and support You ll play a key role in designing reviewing and continuously maintaining our QA processes and standards including control testing and be across all channels of customer contact such as inbound and outbound calls claims emails and social media This position plays a key role as a voice of R C across our teams so you ll be working alongside individuals including our frontline staff and our management team to ensure an organisational wide commitment to minimising risk providing insights and recommendations to support the continuous improvement and growth across SCTI Does this sound like you Were looking for someone with the following skills and experience At least two years relevant experience in the insurance industry Strong communication skills both written and verbal Demonstrable analytical and problemsolving skills as well as a good attention to detail Great planning and organisational skills and the ability to adapt positively to change Prior coaching supervisory or leadership experience along with a relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial but is not essential Youll enjoy a range of benefits at SCTI including A competitive salary and benefits package Subsidised health insurance of course Discounted insurance travel pet and health for immediate family This is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career and make a positive impact in a dynamic and growing business that spans both New Zealand and Australia Are you up for the challenge Want to apply We welcome applications from individuals from all walks of life including diverse backgrounds experiences and perspectives If this sounds like you please get in touch with your cover letter and CV Please note that applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa Successful candidates will also be required to complete a credit and Ministry of Justice check Applications close on Sunday 22 September at 5pm Please note that we dont always work to fixed closing dates and may start considering applications as they are received
