Are you an enthusiastic and dynamic Dietitian keen to enhance your experience working with New Zealand s leading DHB?

An opportunity has arisen to join our forward thinking and dynamic community Dietetic team across the Auckland District Health Board to provide nutritional care for adult patients in the area of adult community.

Our Dietitians work in locality teams and are committed to the holistic delivery of health services within the Auckland DHB community.

We offer dietetic advice and support to clients with a range of medical conditions including home enteral nutrition, malnutrition, dysphagia, oncology, wound healing, obesity with co-morbidities and irritable bowel syndrome.

Services are provided in both the home and clinic settings. We are committed to your continuing professional development through supervision, support and formal / informal training.

You will be a NZ Registered Dietitian with clean drivers licence and a current Annual Practice Certificate. Your clinical decision making skills with recent experience working in a multidisciplinary clinical dietetics and evidence based practicing skill are imperative to be successful in this role.

You will have sound understanding of current issues related to the delivery of community based care. It is essential to be flexible, pro-active and can-do approach with experience supporting staff and students at the same time has the ability to work autonomously in a bicultural environment.
