  • Fixed-term House Officer opportunities for PGY2+. Please note that these roles are not able to be filled by candidates currently completing PGY1.
  • Positions commencing mid-September to 25 November 2018, with the possibility to extend
  • We are seeking Post Graduate Year 2 or above (PGY2+) HouseOfficers to start on a fixed-term contracts until the end of quarter 4 (25November 2018).

    Our House Officer positions are rotational acrossmultiple hospitals, including Wellington Regional, Kenepuru, Hutt Valley and MastertonHospitals which means that you may rotate to these sites during your time withus.

    If you are successful in gaining a position, the service will do their bestto accommodate all preferences you have made.

    RMO salaries are calculatedbased on relevant previous years of experience and the average weekly hours ofwork as set out in the relevant run description.

    For the current salary bands,please refer to the current Multi-Employer Collective Agreement

    Experience and Eligibility

  • Suitable for Resident Medical Officers who will be PGY2 / F2 or above by the role commencement date. Please note applications from candidates who are yet to complete PGY1 are not able to be accepted for these positions.
  • You will have eligibility for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Information on the process of application for this can be found on their website at http : / / / .
  • You will need to be a NZ or Australian citizen or resident, or have an appropriate visa to be eligible to live and work in NZ.
