About the roleAs our developer, you will be involved in the full end-to-end product development process. This is a full-time remote position where you will have full access to some of the best developers in NZ.
This role gives you the opportunity to utilise the full range of your knowledge of programming, platforms and server skills.
You'll be involved in the early stages of a project to assist with user experience ideas & website planning and execute all stages of the development process from road map to roughs & through wire frames to final creative.
About youYou are a full-time remote developer based in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, the Republic of the Philippines or the Republic of Indonesia.
You are a guru with user interfaces and user experience design experience.You are considered and strategic in your approach, we’d rather you build something scalable and repeatable, than fast.
You’ll be part of a team so are readily able to explain exactly why you have done something in a certain way so we can learn from you too.
Skills and experience we expect : You’ll have at least 5000 hours of full-time, an equivalent of 3 years, proven expertise in programming custom websites and back-end interfaces with open-source platforms.
You’ll have either used eCommerce applications, have been part of an eCommerce team, or have experience in the development of eCommerce services.
You’ll have an excellent understanding of the marketing / digital side of eCommerce, as well as a fair overview of the technical.
You are familiar with Docker and Containerisation.You have proven frontend & backend coding skills & logic.You’ll have experience working with large-scale web projects.
You have a strong foundation of knowledge about the software / website structures and understand progressive web application development.
You understand modern web-scale databases like NoSQL engines.You have experience with open-source systems like Magento & Odoo.
Work style : You’ll be able to manage tight deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.You’ll have the ability to work collaboratively, but don’t mind working independently either.
You are comfortable with the Agile Software Development methodology and working remotely in a fast-paced collaborative team.
You’ll have the ability to adapt, learn and grow with the team and can demonstrate this in your previous remote work environments.
You’ll have good empathy, diplomacy, written and verbal communication skills in English, particularly across disciplines.

You love Linux!You have experience developing SaaS applications or marketing digital products and services.You have worked in some capacity with Marketing, Communications or Sales business functions.
You have scrum certifications or project management experience or both.You have experience working in the online payments space.
